Hazel C. NEWNUM, 86, Kingman died at 5 p.m. Thursday Jan 12, 1989 in Vermillion Co Hospital, Clinton. She was born Oct 16, 1902 at Tangier, daughter of John & Cora Brooks Brown. She married Daniel Newnum who preceded her in death in 1974. She had been a telephone operator for Tangier & Kingman Phone Systems. Surviving are a son, Earl of Kingman and daughter Mary Evelyn Harris, Greenfield, six grandchildren and 9 greats. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister. Funeral services were at 2 p.m Sunday in Rice Funeral Home, Marshall with Kenneth Majors officiating. Burial in Rush Creek.
