Infirmities attendant on old age caused the death Tuesday evening at 5 of Samuel NICHOLS of this city. His death occurred at the home of his son, Frank Nichols, 1016 Tuttle Avenue. He had been ill for years. Funeral services will be held from Memorial Church Thursday morning at 10, Rev. FB Solin in charge. Frank Nichols of Crawfordsville, Joseph of Linnsburg, John of Waynetown, Mrs. Florence Welliver of Lafayette and Mrs. Emma Michaels of Indianapolis are the children who survive the deceased. -- kbz

Samuel NICHOLS died at the home of his son Frank Nichols, 1016 Tuttle Avenue yesterday afternoon at 5 o’clock following a long suffering from the infirmities of old age for some time. He was born in Ohio Oct 4, 1837 and has lived in the city for many years. The funeral will be from Memorial Chapel Thursday morning at 10 and services will be in charge of Rev. Solin and the burial at Finley Chapel. Five children survive, Frank of this city, Joe of Linnsburg, John of Waynetown, Mrs Florence Weliver of Lafayette and Mrs. Emma Michaels of Indianapolis. -- kbz
