Nicholson - Mary Davidson

Mrs. Mary L. NICHOLSON mother of Thomas B. Nicholson of this city died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George W. Hall in Chicago. Mrs. Nicholson passed away after an extended illness having been unconscous for the past few days. She was the wife of John Nicholson who preceded her in death and was born at Madison IN in April 1840. Mrs. Nicholson was a member of the Christian Church and for many years took an active interest. Those surviving are two sons, John of Indianapolis and Thomas B. of this city; two daughters, Mrs. George W. Hall of Chicago and Mrs. William R. Wheeler of Cleveland. The body was brought to Crawfordsville Tuesday afternoon and the funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock from the Utterback Mortuary at the corner of Wabash & Grant. The Rev. James H. Wilson of the First Christian Church officiated and burial was made in Oak Hill Cemetery. - kbz
