Nicholson - Maude Gill

Ladoga, Oct 8 Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Maude NICHOLSON 82 Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock at her home in Los Angeles, California. She had been ill with a heart ailment 10 years. Mrs. Nicholson was born on the Gill homestead south of Ladoga, the daughter of Frank and Amy Gill. She was married to Darnal Nicholson who preceded her in death 5 years ago. She was a member of the Haw Creek Church south of Ladoga. Before moving to Los Angeles about 20 years ago, she had owned a millinery shop in Kankakee, Illinois. Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Earl Proctor and 3 nephews, Frank Arden and Harry Hall all of LA. Mr. and Mrs. Proctor will accompany the body to Ladoga arriving here Sunday at midnight. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Cox Funeral home Rev. Leland Earls of the Ladoga Christian Church will be in charge; burial in Ladoga Cemetery - typed by kbz.
