Nickals - Florence

Covington March 29 -- Florence NICKALS, the little daughter of Henry Nickals passed away this morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Lewsadder, east of town. The child was taken to the Lewsadder home soon after its mother died a few weeks ago. It will be recalled that the mother, father and daughter were taken sick last winter and their ailment baffled the physicians. Mrs. Nickals died and the husband's life was despaired of for several days as was also the life of the little girl. She was thought to be getting better but she grew worse again Sunday and death came as a relief to her sufferings early Tuesday morning. Mr. Nickals is able to be up and around the house and is slowly convalescing. - transcribed by kbz
