Nickloi - Pearl Quackenbush

Pearl Nickloi (Library online database spells name Nickloy) Pearl Nickloi, 83, of 801 W. Wabash Ave., died at 5:20 a.m. Sunday in Carmen Nursing Home. Mrs. Nickloi was a member of Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church. Born Aug 12, 1897, at Adrienne, Mich., she was a daughter of Gover and Adella Quackenbush. In 1917, she married Henry E Nickloi, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Joyce Runyan of Lafayette; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Jean and Janice, and three sisters. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Laurimore Wickett officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Cancer Society or favorite charity. -- smc
