Hillsboro - William Benjamin Nine, 84, a life resident of Hillsboro, died Wednesday evening at Rudisill Nursing Home in Covington. He had been ill a year and a half. He was born Oct 8, 1880, to David and Martha Fleming Nine. He was married to Magdalene Day at Yeddo Feb 18, 1914. She died in 1960. A member of the Hillsboro Christian Church and Hillsboro Masonic Lodge No. 385, he had been an auctioneer, restaurant and hotel operator and real estate business. Surviving is a sister, Miss Minerva Nine of Hillsboro. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
