Miss Alice Nolan, aged 37 years, died very suddenly of heart failure this morning at 7 o’clock at her home in the north end. Miss Nolan was the daughter of the late Mary Nolan and leaves one brother. The funeral will occur tomorrow at 3:30 from St. Bernard’s church. Interment at Calvary cemetery – kbz

The last will and testament of the late Alice Nolan was admitted to probate today and John M. Shultz named as executor. She provides that after her debts are paid and a tombstone raised over her remains that $50 shall go to Father DInnen to hold masses for the souls of herself and departed mother. She leaves the residue of her estate to Mary Galey provided that she be educated and boarded at St. Charles Academy or some other Roman Catholic school. If her father, Sant Galey takes charge of her however or if she died before attaining her majority the money shall go to three nephews, the sons of James Nolan. Miss Nolan left nothing at all to her drunken brother who is now left without a home. - kbz
