James Enos Norman was born in Harveysburg, Fountain County, Ind., Dec. 3rd, 1866. He was married to Mary E. Allen, January 12th, 1895. His wife and three small children, Zora, Dora, and Merle survive him, besides an aged father, five sisters, and two brothers. In disposition he was genial and friendly. As a citizen he was kind, generous and accommodating. He united with the Christian Church in the winter of 1899. He became a member of the K. of P. Lodge April 23, 1891, and was highly esteemed by the brotherhood. He was also a member of New Ross Lodge No. 397, I. O. O. F. His sickness was long and painful. He died Feb. 23rd, 1902, age 36 years, 2 months and 20 days. -s
