Crawfordsville
– Arthur W. Norman, 58, a former resident of the New Richmond and Linden
communities, died at 6:30 p.m. Friday in his home here at 409 Dunn Avenue. He
had been seriously ill since November. Born in Monroe County he married Daisy
Souders in 1918 at Crawfordsville. They had lived on farms near New Richmond
and Linden until 14 years ago when they moved to Crawfordsville. Mr. Norman had
been a mixer at the Cleveland Bakery since he came here. Surviving with the
widow are a daughter, Madalyn Norman and a son, Stanley E Norman both of
Crawfordsville; his father, Stanley Norman and three sisters, Mrs. Wilbur Owens
of Linden; Mrs. William Mason of New Richmond and Mrs. Herman Whitaker (no
place given)
