Mrs. Daisy B. Norman, 79, of 409 Dunn Ave., died at 5:50 a.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital. Mrs. Norman was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was born Aug. 26, 1901, at Linden, a daughter of Richard and Harriet Sowders. She married Arthur W. Norman Nov. 9, 1918. He died March 2, 1956. Surviving are a son, Stanley of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Eddie (Madalyn) Morphew of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold, who was killed in Germany in World War II; two sisters; and a brother. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Miller officiating. Burial will be in Old Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. smc
