Oscar Loris (sic - index to Journal-Review says Louis) Norman, 78, a resident of Montgomery County since he was a small child, died Tuesday morning in his home at 114 Vermont St. He was born Oct 18, 1899 and his parents were George C. and Julissa Jane Fleetwood Norman. On Jan 1, 1913 he married Viola C. Long in Crawfordsville. He was educated in Linden schools and lived north of the town until his marriage. He was a farmer and auto mechanic and worked for the Crawfordsville Electric Power & Light until his retirement two years ago. Member of First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, George Russell Norman, Cleveland, Ohio and Oscar L. Norman, Jr. of Wilmongton, Del; two daughters, Mrs. Gilber Forwood and Mrs. Maurice Sivey of Louisville, Ky; a sister, Mrs. Elmer Buffington of Crawfordsville and a brother, Cecil Y. Norman of Indianapolis. Arrangements incomplete. - kbz
