New Market news – Benjamin Northcott son of Joseph Northcott living three miles northeast of this place and four miles south of your city, died of consumption on the 1th in his 21st year. He had been lingering a long time but being a youth of extraordinary energy he never gave up to be confined to his bed or even his room until within a few hours of his death. We have understood he sat up on the edge of the bed and ate a bit of cake 15 minutes before his death.
