Waynetown, Ind. (CNS)-- Mrs. Nellie Norton, 83, of New Richmond died at 11:40 a.m. yesterday (Jan. 5, 1965) at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where she had been a patient two weeks. She had been ill a year and was the wife of Charles Norton who resides at the Small Rest Home here. Born Oct. 18, 1881 at Stevensport, Ky., she was a daughter of Courtland and Nannie Atkinson Grant. She was married to Charles Norton in December, 1902 at her home in Lodiburg, Ky. She moved to New Richmond 19 years ago and was a member of the Methodist Church. She resided at Small Rest Home prior to entering the hospital. Survivors in addition to the husband are three sisters, Mrs. Annie B. Hook and Mrs. Leotta Shaw, both of New Richmond, and Mrs. Gola Kay of Denver, Colo. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. The body is at the Servies Funeral Home here and friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Robert Hayden officiating. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery.
