Mrs. Elizabeth Nunan, of west Milligan street, died suddenly Sunday night about 9:30 o'clock of heart trouble, her demise following a severe coughing spell which came upon her shortly after retiring.  Mrs. Nunan had not been ill and had retired for the night about nine o'clock.  In a few minutes she began coughing in a violent manner and a physician was summoned, but before his arrival the afflicted woman had expired.  In the meantime local treatments having been administered but without avail.  Mrs. Nunan was fifty-four years, seven months and eleven days old, her maiden name was Elizabeth Booker.  She was the mother of nine children, all of whom are living, besides her husband.  Two of her sons belong to regular army.  The funeral will occur Tuesday afternoon at 2 oclock and the burial will take place at Masonic cemetery.  Rev. Woodson will conduct the service.

*Note, one obit says Masonic, the other says Odd Fellows, neither cemetery has any record of her being buried in them? – thanks to Kim H
