Fred W. Nutter, 58 who was living in Pierceton, Indiana was killed near Jeffersonville Thursday morning when the truck of the Pierceton Trucking Co. for whom he worked for several years rolled down a 20-foot embankment, crushing him to death. Mr. Nutter and family lived in Russellville for several years until they moved to Pierceton July 4,. He is survived by the wife, Florence, 3 children, Frieda Ann, age 12, a son, Freddie, 10, and Faye Etta, 2. Funeral services were conducted at the Pierceton Funeral Home Sunday afternoon with burial in Burlington Cemetery, Burlington, IN.
