Ruth Ann Nye, 62, a resident of Waveland for 14 years, died Sunday morning, November 24, at 5 o'clock following complications. The deceased had been ill for a year preceding her death. The stricken woman was born at Deer's Mill in 1867, the daughter of Jesse and Ina Porter Rush. She was married to Sam H. Nye in 1910. The deceased is survived, besides her husband, by two brothers, Alonzo of Waveland and Thomas of Crawfordsville. Funeral services were conducted at the home on Wednesday afternoon, November 27 at 2 o'clock. Burial at Freedom. Mrs. Nye was of a kindly charitable disposition. In early life she made her confession of faith and united with the Christian Church.
