Funeral services will be held at the Oathout funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Dr. L.L. Dunnington officiating for Mrs. Emma G. O'Brien, 80, a former Oxford resident, who died in Crawfordsville, Ind., Sunday.

  Mrs. O'Brien had been in poor health for some time but spent three months recently with her only sister, Mrs. Charles S. Crow of Iowa City, prior to returning to her home two weeks ago.

  She was born near Oxford, the daughter of Lucius H. and Mary Harrington.  On June 18, 1886, she married George A. O'Brien, who died in 1907.

  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John J. Thompson of Crawfordsville, with whom she lived;  two grandchildren, Mrs. Richard West of Crawfordsville and Donald Thompson of Miami, Fla.; three great grandchildren; her sister; and a number of nieces and nephews.

  The body will arrive at Oathouts Tuesday morning.  Burial will be at Oxford.
