Ezra William Oaks, 74, of Crawfordsville, died Sunday in Culver Hospital following a long illness. He was born April 20, 1901 in Lincoln County, Kentucky, a son of Lewis and Sara Rector Oaks. He was educated at Crab Orchard, Ky. Surviving are his wife, Mary Elizabeth, a son Paul Ray of Warsaw; a daughter, Mrs. Betty L. Norris of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Luther of Springboro, Ohio and Charles of Stanford, Ky; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Burkhart Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Perritt officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. kbz
