VEEDERSBURG, March 19---Mrs. Elizabeth Ochletree, 66 years old, wife of William Ochletree of this place died Friday night at midnight after a few hours illness, due to congestion of the lungs and pleurisy. She was taken seriously ill about 8 o'clock in the evening and her condition continued to grow worse until the end. Mr. and Mrs. Ochletree moved to Veedersburg from Newtown about 17 years ago. She is survived by the husband and the following children: Mrs. May Brown, Veedersburg; Mrs. Lelia Blacker, Veedersburg; Mrs. Anna Cox, Veedersburg; Mrs. Myrtle Harrison, Hillsboro; Mrs. Elsie Jones, Chicago; Grace Ochletree, Veedersburg, and Marvin Ochletree of Crawfordsville. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Wingate, where Mrs. Ochletree had been a member for four years, Sunday afternoon, and burial was in the cemetery nearby. --typed by Walt W
