Wingate – Wilson S. Ocheltree, 74, a native of Wingate, died suddenly Sunday evening, following a stroke at the home of a daughter, Mrs. John Timm, Jr. in Danville, Ill., He was a retired employee of the C&EI railroad. The deceased was born here, Aug 7, 1859, a son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Coffing) Ocheltree. Two daughters and two sons survive. The funeral will be held at the Timm home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock with interment in Springhill Cemetery, Danville.
