WAYNETOWN, Ind. (CNS) --- Mrs. Mae Olin, 71, of Liberty Chapel, died at 7:15 p.m. yesterday (Jan. 3, 1969) at Home Hospital in Lafayette. Born July 24, 1897 at Liberty Chapel, she was the daughter of Charles and Anna Cowan Harshbarger. She married Leland Olin. Mrs. Olin was a member of the Liberty Chapel Community Church and president of its Ladies Aid. She was secretary-treasurer of the Coal Creek Township Farm Bureau. Other memberships were the New Richmond American Legion Auxiliary and the Boston Store group at Elmdale. She was a graduate of Breaks High at Liberty Chapel. She is survived by the husband; two sons, Harold of Greenfield Route 2 and Daryl of Crawfordsville Route 4; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Langworthy of Crawfordsville Route 6; two brothers, Lloyd Harshbarger and Ralph Harshbarger, both of Liberty Chapel; 14 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Olin was preceded in death by a brother, Grover Harshbarger in April 1966, and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Patton in May 1963. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown, with the Rev. Everett White and the Rev. Arthur Schenck officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery near Elmdale. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. tomorrow. - jlr

She was a member of Liberty Chapel Community Church and president of its Ladies Aid, a member of the New Richmond American Legion Auiliary and of the former Boston Store Group and at the time of her death secretary-treasurer of the Coal Creek Township Farm Bureau. A daughter o£ Charles and Anna Cowan Harshbarger, she was born July 24, 1897. She married Leland Olin. Mrs. Olin was a 1916 graduate of Breaks High School. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Langworthy of Rt. 6, Crawfordsville; two sons, Harold of Rt. 2, Greenfield, and Daryl of Rt. 4, Crawfordsville; 14 grandchildren and four great-grand-children. A brother, Grover, and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Patton, are deceased. Funeral rites are at 2 p.m. Monday at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown, with Rev. Everett White officiating, assisted by Rev. WAYNETOWN – Funeral services for Mrs. Mae Olin were held Monday afternoon at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home here. Rev. Everett White, pastor of the Liberty Chapel, Community Church, officiated assisted by Rev. Arthur Schenck of Newtown. Mrs. Stella Cowan, organist, played favorite hymns including “How Great Thou Art.” Pallbearers who also assisted with the floral tributes were grandsons of the deceased, Ronald Langworthy, Roy Able, Harold Olin Jr., Daniel Olin, Dennis Olin, and Gregory Olin. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery north of Elmdale. – jlr
