Mrs. Caroline OLIVER, 85, resident of this community most of her life, died Saturday afternoon at 4:55 at her home, 700 S. Walnut Street following an illness of one month with a complication of diseases. She was born at Brownstown on Feb 14, 1858 the daughter of Conrad and Christine Heller BRODHECKER. She was married April 7, 1887 to Justus W. Oliver, whose death occurred several years ago. Mrs. Oliver was a member of the Presbyterian Church. T he survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Walls of this city 3 sons, Franklin E. Oliver of New Richmond; Walter B. of Detroit and Lawrence E. Oliver of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; one great and a half-sister, Margaret Brodhecker. Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 o’clock at the Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Million pastor of the First Christian Church in charge. Burial in Oak Hill.
