Charles E. OLIVER, 34, a native of Montgomery County who was associated with the RR Donnelley & Sons in this city 14 years, died Wednesday at the White Cross Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Born Feb 23, 1917 near Whitesville, Mr. Oliver was the son of Charles A. and Amanda Himes Oliver. He was married 9-4-1937 to Geraldine Smith, who died 6-19-1949. He was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church and Montgomery County Lodge NO 50 F & AM. Mr. Oliver who left here two years ago had been associated with the Crowell Publishing Company of Springfield, Ohio since then. Surviving are a son, Robert Larry ; a daughter, Janet Kay the parents of Near Whitesville and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mueller of Columbus, Ohio and Mrs. Charlotte Cosby of Waveland. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Hunt & Son Funeral home, with burial at Masonic Cemetery, Rev. Robert D. Brady will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
