Jackson Oliver, aged 67 years, died Saturday evening at 8 o'clock at his home south of the city. His death was due to heart trouble. The funeral took place this morning at half past 9 o'clock burial in Oak Hill. Mr. Oliver leaves a wife and 3 grown sons. He had long been a prominent farmer of the county and was a man highly esteemed. -- kbz

Jackson Oliver, aged 67 years, died Saturday night at his home west of Whitesville. He had been a sufferer from asthma for quite a while but death was due directly from heart trouble. The wife and three sons survive, Jesse of Ladoga and Charles and Frank. The burial took place this afternoon at Oak Hill a short survive being conducted at the grave. -- transcribed by kbz
