Mrs. Elizabeth Opperman, of Alamo, died unexpectedly on Saturday. She was at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hattie McFeely, and had just eaten her dinner. Death came to her while sitting in a chair near a stove. She fell against this and her face was slightly burned before she was discovered. - transcribed by kbz
