Mr. and Mrs. Lem Orwig have the sympathy of the entire community in the loss of their two little girls by diphtheria.
FindAGrave lists Iva in the Liberty Chapel Cemetery at Elmdale, Montgomery County. She was born 6 April 1884 and passed away 26 September 1893. Rest In Peace young lady.

Iva, the nine year old daughter of Lem Orwig, died of diphtheria this morning at Wingate. Another of their children is expected to die every hour. The schools are closed on account of this malady. The citizens met last evening and appointed a committee as a health board, also a health officer who came to Crawfordsville today to learn his duties.
