Osborn - Alonzo

Alonzo H. Osborn, 87 of the Monon Hotel died Sunday morning in Culver Hospital. He had worked for Public Service at Lafayette and Crawfordsville. Mr. Osborn was a member of the Crawfordsville Eagles 1005. Born Jan 31, 1888, in Montgomery County, he was a son of George and Mary Jane Reed Osborn. He married Cecil Lawton Aug 16, 1920. She died March 1968. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jane Libkie and Mrs. Irma Jean Dine of Yuma AZ; a stepson, Charles Kellison of Crawfordsville; a grandson Bobby Pirtle, who Mr. Osborn raised; six other grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A daughter and son are deceased. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Little officiating. Burial in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
