NEWTOWN — Mrs. Cecille F. Osborn, age 77, of Newtown, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 24, following a heart attack at her home. She was born Jan. 6, 1891, at Newtown, the daughter of John E. and Jennie Gray Lawton. She was married in 1920 to Alonzo H. Osborn, who survives. She had been a cook at Carey Hall at Purdue University for 18 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are: two daughters, Mrs. Jane Alice Libkie of Yuma, Ariz., and Mrs. Irma Jean Dine of Westfield; one step-son, Charles Kellison of Crawfordsville; one brother, George Lawton of Newtown; one sister, Mrs. Ida Coombs of Crawfordsville; one half-brother, Merle E. Lawton; several grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. The Rev. Frank Little will officiate and burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery, Crawfordsville.   --waw
