Miss Lois Osborn has received word of the death of her brother, Dale W. Osborn of Santa Rosa, Calif., on Saturday, Feb. 22, 1975, after a lingering illness. He was born in Hillsboro Sept. 1, 1899, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Osborn. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended Ames College in Iowa. He left Hillsboro more than 40 years ago and made his home in California, where he was a retired supervisor for the Bell Telephone Company in the San Francisco area. He is survived by his wife, one son, Dale Jr., a grandson, one brother Sheldon Osborn of Seattle, Wash.; and the sister, Lois Osborn of Hillsboro. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Noel of Crawfordsville and Marion of Hillsboro. He had donated his body to science and plans for a memorial are being made. --waw
