Milan Overton died in Tacoma, Washington on Sunday morning aged 32 years. He enet west some months ago in the hope of building up his shattered health, and at the time of his death was occupying a position in a railroad office. A few days ago his parents received notice of his serious ilness and on Saturday his father went to him, but failed to arrive before his death. He was a young man of much excellence of character, and it is peculiarly sad that he was not able to liv eout the allotted span of life, as he was a man of unusual talents and could have fillled a useful place in life - kbz

A telegram from Tacoma, Washington Sunday morning announced the death at that place of Milan Overton. Mr. Overton left Friday night for Tacoma and did not reach there until Tuesday. The funeral occurred in that city at the request of the deceased. Milan Overton was raised in Crawfordsville and was well known as an accomplished musician. In failing health he went some time since, to Emporia, Kansas and later to Tacoma where he had employment in the railroad offices. He was about 32 years old and an excellent young man.- kbz
