Russellville -- Charles W. OWENS. 65, resident of this place for the past 45 years, died at his home here at 8:30 Saturday morning. Death was due to a complication of diseases and followed an illness of about one year. T he deceased was born near Waveland Feb 28, 1866 the son of James and Sophia Owens. He was united in marriage Jan 15, 1891 to Miss Minnie GROVES. Mr. Owens was a member of the Russellville Methodist Church. He had been a barber for the past 37 years. The surviving are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Inez Owens; one son, Eugene Owens; two sisters, Mrs. OP Thomas and Mrs. James Booker and a brother, DW Owens. The parents and one brother preceded him in death. The funeral services will be held at the home in Russellville Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. HA Davis, of Indianapolis. Burial in Russellville Cemetery. - kbz

W.Y. DURHAM attended the funeral of Charles OWEN at his home in Russellville on Monday afternoon. The services were in charge of Rev. Harry Davis of Brownsburg. Mr. Owens was well known here, having married a niece of the late Mrs. Kate BRIDGES. He was a barber by trade. He has been an invalid for several months. He is survived by the wife, one son and a daughter. - kbz
