Thorntown, Feb. 20 . W. J. Owsley died at his home here yesterday afternoon at 3:45. The immediate cause of his death was paralysis of the heart, but he has been suffering for several months with an internal cancer, and for the past month his death has been expected almost any time. . Owsley was well known in Montgomery County, having practiced at one time in Crawfordsville, and for many years at Darlington. He was at one time trustee of Franklin township. He leaves two sons, Carl, who is manager of an express company in a Texas city, and Guy Owsley, who has been practicing medicine with his father here. His wife died on the operating table at Indianapolis two years ago. . Owsley was born March 3, 1854. The funeral will occur in Darlington Friday afternoon, the interment being at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The son from Texas has wired that he will be present. -- kbz
