Colfax, Feb 2 – Miss Mary Schenck, 75, died at the home of her nephew, HE Williams at 7:30 a.m. today after a two month illness. Born in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of Isaac and Mary Jane (Thompson) Schenck. Most of her life was spent in Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Universal Church, Whitesville. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Olive Williams Colfax. Body at the Williams Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Williams Chapel, burial in Plainview Cemetery. – kbz
