Darlington – Mrs. Wilmenia (Peterson) Seybold, 98, formerly of Darlington and a pioneer teacher in the Montgomery County schools died in the home of a son, Silas Seybold in Chicago Monday. Born near Darlington she attended the old Boots school where she later was a teacher for a number of years. She attended the former Waveland and Stockwell Academies. She was married in 1878 to Goerge Seybold who died in 1901. Her husband operated a hardware store in Darlington and Waveland for many years. Surviving with the son, Silas are two daughters, Mrs. Clare S. Wallace, Chicago and Mrs. Mary Esther Farr, Los Angeles and another son, Hubert P. Seybold, Darlington. The body will be sent to Darlington. – kbz
