Guy SMITH, a life long resident of Waveland died at Newcastle,   where he has lived since 1926 of heart attack Tuesday morning May   16. He was 49 years old and never married. He was the youngest of six children, all of which survive his going. They are: Bert of   Boise, Idaho; Clarence of Crawfordsville; Claude and Carl of this place; Mrs. Lon Wood of Linden and Mrs Walter Myers of Hillsboro.   The funeral was conducted at the Machledt Funeral Home Thursday   afternoon at 2 by the Rev. Guy Smith, 49 years old, a native of Montgomery county, died Tuesday morning at his home in New Castle after suffering a heart attack. Born March 22, 1895, on a farm near here, Mr. Smith was the Son of Joseph Monroe Smith and Allie Lang Smith. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lon Woods of Linden, and Mrs. Walter Myers of Hillsboro and four brothers, Clude and Carl Smith of Waveland, Clarence Smith of Yountsville and Bert Smith of Boise, Idaho. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Machledt Funeral Home here with burial at Freedom cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home preceding the rites.

Waveland, May 22 -- Funeral services for Guy Smith were held at the Machledt funeral home with Rev. John servies in charge. Music was furnished by Mrs. Zelma Spencer. Pall bearers were Clarence Smith, Walter Myers, Claude Smith, Lon Wood, Carl Smith and Hubert Smith, who also carried the floral offerings. Burial was made in Freedom.
