Slattery - Ella

Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Friday, 23 April 1897

Monday morning at 1 o’clock death again visited the home of Mrs. Hannah Slattery, of Crawfordsville, and claimed for its own a loving daughter, dear Ella. She had been in poor health for several years from that dreadful disease, consumption, until God’s angels called her home; where she could dwell forever with her father, who departed this life several years ago. Ella was a friend to all who met her. All loved her that knew her. The remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery, north of Crawfordsville. She leaves a mother, two sisters, a brother and a host of friends who mourn her loss.
