Smith - Ezra Martin

Died of apoplexy on last Sunday at his home with Alonzo Mickels, at a little after 12 o’clock, Ezra Martin Smith, aged 69 years and 9 days. Funeral was at the Christian Church at 2 o’clock p.m. on Monday. Rev. Robert Harris conducted the funeral services, being the first one preached in the new edifice. There was a fair attendance, as it was a still death, as there were people living not far from the residence that did not know of his death, as he only took down Friday evening preceding his death. The relatives have the sympathy of all. -s
