Smith - Jessie Livengood

Sept. 29 , Waynetown -- Mrs. Clarence Smith, aged 28 years, died this afternoon at 2:30 at the home southwest of this place. Mrs. Smith has been sick for several years, but t he fatal illness dates back to but a few months ago. She suffered fr om a complication of diseases. Mrs. Smith was formerly Jessie Livengood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. WiIlson Livengood, formerly of Fountain Count y, but now of Garden City, Kansas. She was born and grew to womanhood in eastern Fountain and gained a host of friends in this community. She was married to Clarence Smith to them were born two daughters, Helen and Edith. The husband and children survive. The funeral service will be held at Lutheran church near Wallace, Saturday afternoon, the burial will be in the cemetery at that place.
