Lizzie Ellen Smith,
92, of 1011 Tuttle Ave., died Wednesday in Lane House Nursing Home. She was
born in Monroe County, Ky., on July 4, 1884, a daughter of John T. and Rachel
Keys Turner. She married Harrison Smith on Feb. 12, 1902. He is deceased.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Haley and Jane Harwood of Crawfordsville, and
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m.
Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Hall officiating.
Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after
2 p.m. Friday. – jlr
