Graveside rites for
Mrs. Sophia W. Smith, 72, were conducted Thursday morning at the Mace K of P
Cemetery with Rev. W. S. Muir officiating, Mrs. Smith died Tuesday morning at
613 Lafayette Ave., where she had resided the past 18 months with her cousin,
Herman Dicks. She was a native of Scotland, born Aug. 12, 1896, a daughter of
Andrew and Mary McIntyre Muir. She was married in 1963 at. Indianapolis to Frank
F. Smith who preceded her in death. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Hollywood
(Fla.) Church of Christ. The only survivor was her cousin. – jlr
