Emmett Andrew Utterback, 58-year-old life-long resident of this city, died Saturday morning while en route to Culver Hospital from his apartment in the Palmer Apartments. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Born Jan 12, 1903, he was the son of Lester W. and Elva Jaynes Utterback. He married Eva Fitzwater in 1927. He was a member of the Linden Methodist Church and Crawfordsville Moose Lodge. Mr. Utterback was a horse trainer most of his life training horses in Indianapolis and Georgia. Survivors include his wife, his mother, two daughters, Mrs. Austin Money Jr. of Crawfordsville and Mrs. James Hall of Waveland; two sons, Lester of Crawfordsville and Donald of Pendelton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies in charge. Burial in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.
