Mrs. Eva Darlene Utterback, 57, died of a heart attack Sunday morning at her home, 404 ½ E. Jefferson St. A native of Kirkpatrick, she was a daughter of Newton Tyler and Mary Margaret Bales Fitzwater and was born April 12, 1906. She married Emmett Andrew Utterback in this city Oc. 15, 1926. He preceded her in death. She attended Roachdale High School and was a practical nurse for many years. Surviving Mrs. Utterback are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Money and Mrs. Mary Hall, and two sons, Lester and Donald, all of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Aletha Lafollette of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Arzola Graves of New Ross; eight brothers, Sherman and Forrest of Crawfordsville, William of Mace, Edward of Georgetown, Ill., Walter of Elmdale, Homer of Jasonville, Orville of Pasadena, Calif., and Ralph of Indianapolis, and seven grandchildren. A daughter, Martha Darlene, two sisters and a brother are deceased. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Rev. John Services will officiate, interment will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.
