Utterback - Lucia Owen

Mrs. Lucia Sarah Utterback, 52, former local resident died at her home in Vincennes Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock whre she had lived for the past year and a half. Death came after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Utterback was born in Waynetown, 5 Feb 1895, the daughter of Charles R. and Carrie Harvey Owen. She was married to Vincent W. Utterback in Crawfordsville 2 July 1914. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Crawfordsville. Surviving are the husband, three sons, Charles O. of Fond du Lac, Wis; John A. of Indianapolis and V. Wayne of Vincennes; two brothers, Arnett H. Owen of Minneapolis and Paul R. of Chicago; three grandchildren, Isabel and Frances Owen of Greencastle and Phillip Owen of Fond du Lac and several cousins. A brother, Harry died in infancy. Funeral services will be at the Utterback & Bright Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with burial at Waynetown. Friends may call at the funeral home.- kbz
