Miss Eva Vance, daughter of Mrs. Amanda Vance, after two years of illness passed away at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the age of 40 years. Miss Vance has lived in this city but a short time, having moved here 3 months ago from the country so as to be under the doctor's care. Her death was to stomach trouble. The funeral service will take place at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence on South Washington street. Interment at Oak Hill cemetery. Revs Tucker & Stephens will officate - kbz

Miss Eva Vance died Friday afternoon at her home on south Washington street in the fortieth year of her age, after a lingering illness. The funeral occurred on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at Oak Hill. - thanks to Kim H
