New Market --Mrs. Anna Mae Van Cleave, 76, a resident of Montgomery County practically all of her life, died Monday morning at the Shahan Nursing Home in Crwafordsville. She had been ill seven weeks. Born Nov. 16, 1876 at Waveland, Mrs. Van Cleave married Charles Van Cleave, who died Oct. 8, 1947. She was a member of the New Market Baptist Church. Except for two years spent in Oklahoma she had always lived in Montgomery County. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lucinda Finley, Ladoga, three sons, George Van Cleave, Tyler N.D., Paul Van Cleave, Fresno, Calif., and Levi van Cleave, Chicago. Two daughters, Ruth and Nancy Van Cleave, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Noble Reeves Funeral Home in New Market. Burial will be at the Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Creed Hampton will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
