Darrell R. VanCleave, young son of Orpha Van Cleave, passed away at the family home in Lincoln, Illinois, Sunday, according to a message received here. Funeral services were held at Lincoln Tuesday. The father is well known in this county having formerly resided in New Market. Darrell was 14 years old and has a twin brother Donald who survives. A sister also survives. The deceased was a member of the freshman class in the Lincoln High School and was a honor student. Those who attended the funeral from this county were Daniel VanCleave, Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Hicks, Rev. and Mrs. C.L. Airhart, Mrs. Bettie Handel, Mrs. W.V. Stewart, Mrs. Ellen Davis, and William VanCleave, all of Crawfordsville, and Jonathan and Esther VanCleave of New Market.- kbz
