Vancleave - Edward

Edward Vancleave, 75, died at his home two and a half miles west of New Market, this morning at 2 after a prolonged illness. Hardening of the arteries caused his death. Mr. Vancleave had been a resident of this vicinity pratcially all his life and was one of the best known farmers in this part of the county. He was married on Christmas Day, 55 years ago and is survived by his wife. Six daughters also survive: Lina, Effie, Alma and ALee Vancleave, living at home; Mrs. Milbert Sayler and Mrs. Emma Armstrong. Mr. Vancleave was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and was highly respected by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held from the last home Monday morning at 10 in charge of Rev.
