Vancleave - Elanor Pearl Casida

Mrs. Pearl VanCleave, 79, 905Vandalia St., died at 4 p.m Sunday in her home. She had worked at the old Match Factory. Mrs. VanCleave was a member of First Baptist Church and King's Daughters Sunday School Class. Born May 29, l898 in Owen County, she was a daughter of Grant and Matilda Rader Casida. She was married to Norman VanCleave on April 28, 1915 at Spencer. He is deceased. Surviving are three brothers, Lee R. and Clyde of Spencer and Glen of Cloverdale; and a sister, Mrs. Cora Peacock of Crawfordsville. A son, brother, and sister are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Powers Funeral Home here with the Rev. James Ranard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
