Bradford Van HOOK, Mrs. George Slavens and Mrs. Emma Jack attended the funeral of Bradford Van HOOK at the Secedere Church south of Milligan on Tuesday afternoon. He died in Culver Hospital early on Sunday morning of complications following flu. He is survived by the wife who was Miss Eloise Smiley and two children, Rosaline 2 and George Allen 3 months. Mr. Van Hook had driven a motor store for the Sewell store at Portland Mills and had a wide circle of acquaintances by whom he was well liked. The funeral was in charge of Rev. Cecil Griggs . Burial at the Cemetery adjoining the Church.
